    Saturday Classes Obedience Homework week of October 10th, 2011

     
    11:00 Basic Class:
     
    Great start to a brand new Basic Class.  Practice Heeling to a  Sit, Sit to a Down, and Down Stays.
    11:00 Intermediate Class:
     
    Continue to work on Down stay and sit stay.  Also practice hand signals for sit and down.  Remember to keep distances short.
    Basic Search Class:
    • Run out of sight, left and right
    • New Places to Search
    • Use Food and Praise After the Dog Locates

    Key points when searching:

    1. Wind
    2. Terrain
    3. Watch the dogs Alerts (Eyes, Tail, Body)
    4. Dangers
    5. Distractions
